A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CHANGING THE
NAME OF A PORTION OF LA MESA AVENUE
TO JOHN BALL WAY.
(SAC2011- 00067)
WHEREAS, Section 34091.1 of the Government Code authorizes the legislative body of
a City to adopt or change the name of a City street; and
WHEREAS, Section 15.08.100 of the Anaheim Municipal Code permits the City Council
to change the name of a street if the changed name conforms with the provisions of Chapter
15.08 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and the Address and Street Name Master Plan of the City
of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the renaming of a portion of La Mesa Avenue is hereby determined to
conform to Chapter 15.08 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and to the Address and Street Name
Master Plan of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the portion of La Mesa Avenue, as shown
in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto, is ordered changed to John Ball Way.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, ordered to
forward a copy of this resolution to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange as required
by Government Code Section 34092.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim this 12th day of July , 2011, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Tait, Council Members Sidhu, Eastman, Galloway and Murray
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

Pursuant to Government Code 34092, enclosed is a certified copy of Resolution
No. 2011 -103 approved by the Anaheim City Council at their meeting of July 12,
2011. The resolution authorized a name change to a portion of La Mesa Avenue,
