RES-2011-111 RESOLUTION NO. 2011- 111
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING PERSONS HOLDING
CERTAIN DESIGNATED POSITIONS TO EXECUTE
DOCUMENTS FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING CERTAIN
FEDERAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND /OR STATE
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.
WHEREAS, the purpose of this Resolution is to authorize persons holding certain
designated positions within the City to prepare and file applications and execute other required
documents for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim for the purpose of obtaining certain federal
financial assistance and /or state financial assistance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the persons holding the following designated positions:
City Manager
Assistant City Manager
Fire Chief
Chief of Police
Emergency Management Director
are hereby authorized to prepare and file applications and execute other required documents for and
on behalf of the City of Anaheim for the purpose of obtaining certain federal financial assistance
under Public Law 93 -288 as amended by the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency
Assistance Act of 1988, and /or state financial assistance under the California Disaster Assistance
Act.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim, a Charter City established
under the laws of the State of California, hereby authorizes such persons that hold the positions as
designated above, to provide to the California Emergency Management Agency for all matters
pertaining to such state disaster assistance the assurances and agreements required.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this is a universal resolution and is effective for
all open and future disasters up to three (3) years following the date of approval as set forth below.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution supersedes Resolution No. 2011-
026 which shall be void and of no further effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim this 16th day of August , 2011, by the following roll -call vote:
AYES: Mayor Tait, Council Members Sidhu, Eastman, Galloway and Murray
