A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN CITY
OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1357 SOUTH PALM
STREET, ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA (APN 082 - 341 -22 AND APN
082 - 410 -07).
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim ( "City ") owns that certain real property located at
1357 South Palm Street in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, Assessor's
Parcel Numbers 082 - 341 -22 and 082 - 410 -07 consisting of a combined area of approximately 6,317
square feet (hereinafter "Property ") upon the combination of the two foredescribed parcels through
Lot Line Adjustment No. 0000670, as part of the properties acquired from the widening of Interstate
Highway 5; and
WHEREAS, said property is no longer required for municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, no agency identified in the Surplus Unimproved Land Act (California
Government Code § §54222 — 54232) has, within sixty (60) days of notification by the City, notified
the City of its intention to purchase the Property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Property shall be advertised for
sale and sold by sealed bid. Said bids shall be opened at 2:00 p.m. on September 15, 2011, in the
Office of the City Clerk located at 200 South Anaheim Boulevard, 2nd Floor, Anaheim, CA 92805.
All bids shall be accompanied by deposit in the form of a certified or cashier's check in the sum of at
least ten percent (10 %) of the bid price. Notice is given that the City Council must reject any bid
which does not equal or exceed the appraised value of the Property ($95,000.00) unless the City
Council, by at least a two - thirds vote, determines that the sale of the Property at a lesser amount to be
in the best interests of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall open said bids and forward
qualified bids to the Director of Public Works for evaluation and recommendation of the bid to be
accepted by the City Council. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

the City of Anaheim this 23rd day of August , 2011, by the following roll call vote:
