A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 65R-458 AND
TRANSFERRING RESPONSIBILITY FOR ENFORCEMENT OF THE
MOBILE HOME PARK ACT TO THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF
HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has determined that it is in the
public's best interest to return the responsibility for the enforcement of the Mobile Home Park Act as
required in the State Health & Safety Code from the City of Anaheim to the Department of Housing
and Community Development of the State of California; and
writing,
WHEREAS, State law requires the City Council to notify the State of its intent in
Anaheim
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
The City of Anaheim hereby transfers the responsibility for inspection of mobile home
coaches to the Department of Housing and Community Development of the State of
California within 30 days from receipt of this notice; and
The City Clerk is directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the State
Department of Housing and Community Development transferring all inspection activities
effective on or before July 31, 2001.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this 19th day of June_, 2001.
