A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEI/Vi APPROVING THE RECEEPT
OF A GRANT AWARD FROM THE
CALIFORNIA ENERGY COMMISSION

WHEREAS, the California Energy Commission has made a grant of $177,500 to the City of
Anaheim for purchase of Liquefied Natural Gas refuse vehicles by Taormina Industries; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is prepared to accept this grant to assist Taormina Industries in
purchase of Liquefied Natural Gas refuse vehicles; and
WHEREAS, Taormina Industries agrees to enter into agreement with the City of Anaheim to
implement Liquefied Natural Gas refuse vehicle program as outlined in the grant application to the
California Energy Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the
City hereby agrees to accept a grant fi:om the California Energy Commission as set forth above and
to comply with the provisions of the grant.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim this 10th dayof July, 2001.
