A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING
FEES FOR PARKING AT THE ANAHEIM
CONVENTION CENTER TO BE EFFECTIVE
JULY 11, 2001.
WHEREAS, by Resolution 98R-125 dated June 16, 1998,
the City Council of the City of Anaheim established fees for
parking at the Anaheim Convention Center at Seven Dollars ($7.00)
per space, except as provided by contract or otherwise specified;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that the
fee for parking at the Anaheim Convention Center should be
amended; and
WHEREAS, prior to adopting this resolution the City
Council has held a public hearing, at which oral or written
presentations could be made, as part of a regularly scheduled
meeting and notice of said hearing was published twice in a
newspaper the first publication occurring not less than ten days
prior to the date of said hearing as required by Government Code
Section 66018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim to establish a parking fee for parking in the
lots of the Anaheim Convention Center at the rate of $7.00 to
$8.00 per entry to the parking lot, depending upon the event
scheduled, with the actual fee to be established at the
discretion of the Anaheim Convention Center Executive Director,
except as provided by contract or otherwise specified.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of the
parking fee for the Anaheim Convention Center established herein
shall be July 11, 2001.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all prior resolutions
relating to parking fees at the Anaheim Convention Center are
rescinded, effective July 11, 2001.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
