A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING CERTAIN DEEDS CONVEYING TO
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
INTERESTS THEREIN.
WHEREAS, California Government Code section 27281 provides that deeds or
grants conveying any interest in fee or easement upon real estate to a political corporation or
governmental agency for public purposes shall not be accepted for recordation without the
consent of the grantee evidenced by its resolution of acceptance; and,
WHEREAS, certain real property interests have been presented to the City of
Anaheim (hereinafter "CITY" or "City of Anaheim ") for acceptance; and,
WHEREAS, the real property interests are set forth in deeds which are described
in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference (hereinafter "DEEDS ");
and,
WHEREAS, Exhibit "A" also sets forth the names of the grantors of these real
property interests as well as the locations of the real property interests; and,
WHEREAS, the owners of those properties described in Exhibit "A" have offered
to convey to the CITY the real property or interests therein which are a condition of CITY
electrical service and necessary in order for the CITY to provide such service to these owners
( "Service "); and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby find and
determine that it is in the best interests of the CITY to accept the DEEDS for the purposes
described herein.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
1. The DEEDS, which are described in Exhibit "A ", are hereby accepted by
the City Council for no other consideration than the furnishing of Services in accordance with
the Electric Rates, Rules, and Regulations; provided, however, that nothing herein shall be
construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the CITY street system (Streets and
Highways Code, Section 1806).
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause the DEEDS to
be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Orange.

of the City of Anaheim this 6th Day of December , 2011, by the following vote:
