A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING THE WORKFORCE INVESTMENT
ACT TITLE I MASTER SUBGRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
FOR THE TERM OF APRIL 1, 2012 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2014
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim (the "City ") has been designated by the Governor of
the State of California as a Local Workforce Investment Area under the Workforce Investment
Act (the "WIA "); and
WHEREAS, the City is entitled to receive certain funds under the WIA; and
WHEREAS, the State of California requires the approval of a subgrant agreement in
order for the City to be eligible to receive these funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. Approval of Master Subgrant Agreement. That certain WIA Subgrant Agreement
No. K386291 (the "WIA Master Subgrant Agreement ") which (i) is on file with the City Clerk
as of the date of this Resolution, and (ii) allocates funds in the amount of One Million Eleven
Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty -Five and no /100 Dollars ($1,011,855.00) to the City, is hereby
approved.
Section 2. City Manager Authorization. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
the WIA Master Subgrant Agreement, modifications thereto and related documents on behalf of
the City.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim this 29th day of May , 2012, by the following roll call vote:
