A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AGREEING TO A
REDISTRIBUTION OF PROPERTY TAXES FOR
REORGANIZATION NO. RO 01-05--THE
SERRANO/NOHL RANCH ROAD
REORGANIZATION
WHEREAS, Serrano Heights East, LLC has requested a
boundary adjustment between the cities of Anaheim and Orange at a
location near the northwest corner of the intersection of Serrano
Avenue and Nohl Ranch Road to correct an error made when the area
was originally annexed by the cities of Anaheim and Orange; and,
WHEREAS, Section 99(b) (6) of the Revenue and Taxation
Code requires jurisdictions involved in any such jurisdictional
change to agree to a property tax redistribution prior to
certification of such change in jurisdiction; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim concurs that the tax
revenues accruing for the territory being annexed to the City of
Anaheim be allocated in total to the City of Anaheim, and that the
tax revenue accruing for the territory being annexed to the City of
Orange be allocated in total to the City of Orange; and,
WHEREAS, a legal description and map depicting the area
of Reorganization No. RO 01-05 is attached hereto and designated as
Exhibit A hereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim does hereby agree to
the foregoing redistribution of property taxes for Reorganization
No. RO 01-05, with taxes allocated according to applicable revenue
factors for the affected tax rate areas.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 7th day of August ,
