97-228WHEREAS, Section 34091.1 of the Government Code
authorizes the legislative body of a City to adopt or change the
name of a City street; and
WHEREAS, Section 15.08.100 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code permits the City Council to change the name of a street if
the changed name conforms with the provisions of Chapter 15.08 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code and the Address and Street Name Master
Plan of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the renaming of a portion of Citron Street
between La Palma Avenue and Romneya Drive is hereby determined to
conform to Chapter 15.08 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and to the
Address and Street Name Master Plan of the City of Anaheim.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the name of that
portion of Citron Street lying between La Palma Avenue and
Romneya Drive is hereby ordered changed to Village Way.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, ordered to forward a copy of this resolution to the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange as required by
Government Code Section 34092.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 2nd day of December
1997.
