80R-296 RESOLUTION NO. 80R -296
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed pursuant to the provisions of the Public
Services Easements Vacation Law (Section 50430 et seq. Government
Code) in connection with the vacation and abandonment of public
service easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly posted
and published, give notice of its intention to abandon the follow-
ing described public service easement (hereinafter "Easement "),
to wit:
That portion of that certain public utility easement
described in document recorded December 7, 1955 in
Book 3308, page 255, records of Orange County, Cali-
fornia, located in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, described as follows:
A strip of land 10 feet in width lying within that
portion of the Rancho Santiago De Santa Ana and
within that portion of Lot 5 of the Travis Tract, as
per map recorded in Book 5, page 120, Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, the centerline of said
10 -foot strip is described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the northerly line of Struck
Avenue, said point being 80 feet westerly of the west-
erly line of Parcel Map, filed in Book 35, page 38,
Parcel Maps, records of Orange County; thence N 0 10
& 1/2" E, 200.02 feet, +, to an intersection with the
southerly right of way line of Sinclair Street (64
feet wide), as shown on said Parcel Map, said point of
intersection being the point of terminus of the center-
line herein described; and
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of July, 1980, a public hearing
was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning
said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find from the evidence submitted to it, that said Easement is un-
necessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and abandonment
of said Easement.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the Office of the County Re-
corder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 1st day, - July, 1980.
