A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF THREE
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT(S) TO THE ORANGE COUNTY
TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY FOR FUNDING UNDER THE
COMPREHENSIVE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM HEREBY RESOLVES, DETERMINES,
AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS THAT:
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to implement the transportation
improvements listed below; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has been declared by the Orange County
Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility requirements to receive Measure M "turnback"
funds; and
WHEREAS, the City's Circulation Element is consistent with the County of
Orange Master Plan of Arterial Highways; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim will provide matching funds for each project as
required by the Orange County Comprehensive Transportation Funding Programs Guidelines;
and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Authority intends to allocate
funds for transportation improvement projects within the incorporated cities and the County; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim will not uses Measure M funds to supplant
Developer Fees or other commitments; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim will use Arterial Highway Rehabilitation
Funding as a Supplement to the existing pavement management program; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby requests the Orange County Transportation
Authority allocate funds in the amounts specified in the City's application to said City from the
Comprehensive Transportation Programs. Said funds shall be matched by funds from said City
as required and shall be used as supplemental funding to aid the City in the improvement of the
following street(s) shown on Exhibit "A ".
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City Anaheim this 20 day of November, 2012, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Tait, Council Members Sidhu, Galloway, Eastman and Murray
