A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 97R -101 FOR THE
PURPOSE OF MODIFYING THOSE
CLASSIFICATIONS DESIGNATED AS
UNREPRESENTED PART TIME
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report
dated November 20, 2012, that the need exists to provide additional classifications designated
as Unrepresented Part Time, effective November 20, 2012; and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Section 1 of Resolution
No. 97R -101 and amendments thereto; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that the creation of
these classifications and assignment to Unrepresented Part Time, is in the best interest of the
City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
1. That, Section 1 of Resolution No. 97R -101 be amended by adding the following
job classifications and allocating them to the salary range as shown effective November 23,
2012:
Classification Step Range
City Council Aide I 4 - 9 $13.66 - $17.43
City Council Aide II 4 - 9 $17.68 — $22.66
Senior Policy Aide XCRO8 $30.32 - $41.69
2. That, Pursuant to Section 604 of the City Charter and Section 1.04.110 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code, these classifications shall be at -will, confidential, part —time
employees in the exempt service of the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these new classifications will be excluded
from the City's pension coverage as provided for under existing State Law; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this Resolution is
November 20, 2012.
The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
