A ESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AN,-M-IEIM AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN
CITY RECORDS MOE THAN TWO YEARS OLD
WHEREAS, '2i, ec':tion 34090 et seq. Of the Government Code of the State of
California authorizes the destruction of certain records, documents, instruments, books and
papers (hereinafter "records") of the City upon approval of the legislative body of the City and
with the written consent of the City Attorney, provided that said records do not fall within certain
speci ~ed categori es; and
WHEREAS, the following described records under the charge of the Executive
Director, Community Development Department of the City of Ariahelm ("custodian of records")
are ~nore than two years old and are docurnents which are authorized for destruction trader the
provisions of said Sections 34090 et seq. of the Government Code w'ithout making a copy
thereof, and
Wt{EREAS, the custodian of records of each record series described kercin has
dcterri, qr_.ed that said documents are no longer needed or required; and
W}iEREAS, the City Council concurs in the determination of lhe custodimxs of
records and finds that said records are no longer needed; and
WHEREAS, the City Atton'tey o f the City o f Anah.':i m dces, by the approval o f
t!:._is reso!ution, hereby give written consent ti>r the destruction offi'.,e listed records.
NOW, THEEFOE BE IT ESOLVED BY THE CiTY COUNCI]2, OF "['HE
