A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM VACATING THAT CERTAIN UNNAMED
PUBLIC ALLEY EXTENDING WESTERLY FROM OHIO
STREET, APPROXIMATELY 150 FEET SOUTH OF
BROADWAY (Abandonment No. 99-7A)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public streets, highways or public service easements
pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by
1 aw; and
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of November, 1999, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of that
certain unnamed alley, reserving therefrom for public utility
purposes, easements all as more particularly described:
See Exhibit A attached hereto;
provided, however, that this action shall serve only to terminate
the rights of the public to use said street, highway, or public
service easement and shall not be construed to convey or
relinquish any property interest of the City of Anaheim in and to
said street, highway or public service easement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this_ 16th d, of November,

that certain easement deed recorded April 21, 1978 in Book 12644, Page 1730 of Official
Records, in the office of said County Recorder.

Being a portion of Lot 28, Block B of Tract No. 238, in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, as shown on the map recorded in Book 13, Page 23 of
MiscellaneoUs Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said County, beinp more
particularly that portion of that certain easement deed recorded April 21, 1978 in Book
12644, Page 1742 of Official Records, in the office of said County Recorder described as
follows: Beginning at the Northeasterly comer of Lot 28 of Block B of said Tract No.
238; thence along the Northerly line of said Lot 28 and the Northerly line of said
Easement Deed South 74°30'00'' West 107.60 feet to a line parallel with and distant 2.50
feet Easterly of the Westerly line of said Lot 28; thence along said parallel line South
15020'00'' East 12.50 feet to an angle point in the general Easterly line of said Easement
Deed; thence along the Southeasterly and Southerly lines of said Easement Deed., the
following courses: North 29°35'00'' East 14.16 feet and North 74°30'00" East 97.60 feet
to the Easterly line of said Lot 28 of said Block B; thence along said Easterly line North

previously described as Parcels "1", "2", and "3" together with all fights of ingress and
egress for the installation, operation, inspection, maintenance, repair, replacement,
relocation, and removal of any and all related facilities including fixtures and
appurtenances.
ALSO EXCEPTING AND RESERVING unto Southern California Gas Company and
Pacific Bell, an Easement for Utilities purposes on, over, under, above, along, and across
said Parcels "1", "2", and "3" together with all rights of ingress and egress for the
installation, operation, inspection, maintenance, repair, replacement, relocation, and
removal of any and all related facilities including fixtures and appurtenances. Said
Reservation of Easement unto Southern California Gas Company and Pacific Bell is
subordinate to the Easement reserved unto the City of Anaheim.
SUBJECT TO existing covenants, conditions, reservations, restrictions, rights of way and
easements pertaining to Parcels "1 ", "2", and "3", if any, of record.
