A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AMENDING CITY COUNCIL POLICY 1.6 OF THE CITY
COUNCIL POLICY MANUAL RELATING TO THE MANNER IN
WHICH MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL MAY PLACE MATTERS ON
THE AGENDA OF A REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2012 -031, the City Council added City Council Policy 1.6
entitled "City Council Regular Meeting Agenda Setting" to the City Council Policy Manual; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to amend the City Council Policy Manual to
amend City Council Policy 1.6 with regard to the manner in which the members of the City Council
may place items on a regular City Council meeting agenda.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. Policy No. 1.6 entitled, "City Council Regular Meeting Agenda Setting" is
hereby deleted in its entirety from the City Council Policy Manual and replaced with the following:
"Any member of the City Council may, during the City Council Communications portion
of a City Council meeting, request that an item be placed on a future City Council regular
meeting agenda."
Section 2. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim this 30 day of September , 2013, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Council Members Eastman, Murray, Brandman and Kring
NOES: Mayor Tait
