CALL TO ORDER:
1. The Community Services Board meeting was called to order at 5:31 p.m. by Chair
Henninger.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
2. Chair Henninger invitedBoard Member Santoianni to lead the Board in
reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
INTRODUCTION OF VISITORS & PUBLIC COMMUNICATION

A. Scheduled Public Communication: The Board listened to the My Safe Harbor presentation given by
Becky Ahlberg and asked questions.
B. Unscheduled Public Communication: None.

A. Incoming: None.

APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES:
5. Board Member Santoianni made a motion to approve the minutes for the
July 11, 2013, meeting; Board Member Beas seconded the motion which passed with six ayes and one
abstention.
NEW BUSINESS:

A. Recreation and Human Services Activity Report: Joe Perez presented the Recreation and Human Services
Activity Report.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

A. FY 2013/2014 Public Service Funding Process: Chair Henninger reported the City Council meeting to
and invited Board Members to
attend. Joe Perez stated Board Member Aitken will attend and
recommendation. Chair Henninger stated he will also attend.
B. FY 2014/2015 Public Service Funding Process: Joe Perez reported 15 agencies submitted applications for
18 different programs, none of them being new agencies. A copy of the applications was sent to
Community Development. A copy of the applications will be provided to each Board Member.

Board Member Noteboom congratulated Chair Henninger and Vice-Chair Cudd on the Chair and Vice-
Chair elections.
C. 2013 Meeting and Presentation Schedule: Joe Perez reported the FY 2014/2015 agency presentations will
be scheduled for the September 12 and September 19 meetings.
