A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING
RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR
CLASSIFICATIONS ASSIGNED TO THE
INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF
ELECTRICAL WORKERS, LOCAL 47
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report
dated February 4, 2014, that the need exists to create, delete and /or modify certain classifications
established in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 47, effective February
14, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that the additions,
deletions and/or modifications, and assignment to the International Brotherhood of Electrical
Workers, Local 47, is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that effective January 31, 2014, the basic compensation plan for all officers and
employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the future be employed in
the classification listed below shall be allocated to the following Salary Grade in the Salary
Grade Master:
Classification Salary Grade Step Salary Relationship
HVAC /Electrical Helper 1928-2344 5-9 .70 x Facility and Event Electrician
That, Appendix A of the Memorandum of Understanding between the
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 47, as amended, is hereby amended
further by deleting the following classification:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this Resolution is
February 14, 2014.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim this 4th day of February , 2014, by the following roll call vote:
