A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, PART -TIME UNIT,
AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Municipal Employees
Association, Part Time Unit, have met and conferred and reached an understanding to
establish wages, hours, terms and conditions of employment for job classifications newly
represented by the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association (AMEA) Part -Time Unit;
and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, Part Time Unit, is in
agreement with the recommendation contained in said Letter of Understanding; and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the Letter of Understanding dated March 4,
2014, between the parties has been prepared and signed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that it is in the best
interest of the City of Anaheim to approve said Letter of Understanding.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the Letter of Understanding dated March 4, 2014, between the Anaheim
Municipal Employees Association, Part Time Unit, and the City of Anaheim, a copy of
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference herein, is hereby
approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 4 day of March, 2014 by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Tait, Council Members Eastman, Murray, Brandman and Kring

LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
between the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, PART -TIME EMPLOYEES
and the
CITY OF ANAHEIM
The Anaheim Municipal Employees Association (AMEA) and the City of Anaheim
(ANAHEIM) have met and conferred and reached an agreement on matters pertaining to the
wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment for those part-time classifications
specified below. The PARTIES hereby agree to the following:
1. Part Time Laborer

Part Time Senior Library Clerk
Part Time Police Dispatcher
2. AMEA and ANAHEIM agree that Article 14 — "Salary Relationships" shall be amended
as follows:

3. AMEA and ANAHEIM agree that Section 26.2 of the Memorandum of Understanding
between the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association Part Time Unit and the City of
Anaheim shall apply to the above listed classifications effective July 1, 2015.
4. AMEA and ANAHEIM agree that all other terms and conditions of the Memorandum of
Understanding between the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association Part Time Unit
and the City of Anaheim shall apply to the above listed classifications upon ratification of
this Agreement by the Anaheim City Council, and that any future proposals shall be
discussed during general contract negotiations.
