1985-204RESOLUTION NO. 85R-204 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS AS PERMIT PARKING ONLY. WHEREAS, Section 14.32.450 of the Anaheim Municipal Code authorizes the City Council of the City of Anaheim, by resolution, to restrict any City street, or portion thereof, to permit parking only in accordance with the provisions of said Section; and WHEREAS, due to parking congestion on certain streets in the City of Anaheim, the City Council hereby finds that the hereinafter designated streets should be restricted to permit parking in the manner hereinafter set forth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows: 1. Permit Parking Area No. 3: The following streets, or portions thereof, are hereby designated as Permit Parking Area No. 3 for which separate area a distinctively colored valid parking permit shall at all times be required for street parking pursuant to the provisions of Section 14.32.450 of the Anaheim Municipal Code: A. Laster Avenue, on both sides, for the entire length thereof. B. Kimberly Place, on both sides, fo r th e entire length thereof. C. Holgate Drive, on both sides, for the entire length thereof. D. Strathmore Place, on both sides, for the entire length thereof . E. Canterbury Circle, on both sides, for the entire length thereof. F. Norfolk Lane, on both sides, for the entire length thereof. ~""" G. Heather Lane, on both sides, for the entire length thereof. H. Walnut Street, on the west side only, from Katella Avenue to 120 feet north of Laster Avenue. I. Trenton Street, on both sides, for the entire length thereof. 2. The Traffic Engineer of the City of Anaheim and his representatives are hereby authorized to issue parking permits for Parking Permit No. 3 in accordance with the provisions of Section 14.32.450 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and Section 3 of this Resolution. 3. A maximum of three (3) resident parking permits and two (2) visitor (guest) parking permits shall be issued by the City Traffic Engineer, without charge, to the residents of each lawful residential dwelling adjacent to any street specified in Section 1 above. Additional parking permits shall be issued upon request at a charge of ten dollars (10.00) per permit. The City Council finds and determines that such permit charge does not exceed the costs reasonably borne by the City in providing such regulation. 4. Nothing contained herein shall be deemed to authorize vehicle parking at any location or at any time otherwise prohibited by any other provision of law. 5. The provisions of this resolution shall be deemed effective as to any of the streets specified herein upon the posting of signs upon such street giving notice of said parking restrictions.
