CALL TO ORDER:
1. The Community Services Board meeting was called to order at 5:46 p.m. by Vice-Chair
Cudd.

2. Vice-Chair Cudd invitedBoard Member Kelso to lead the Board in reciting
the Pledge of Allegiance.

CORRESPONDENCE

A. Incoming: Vice-Chair Cudd welcomed the newest Board Member, Virginia Zlaket, and invited her to
share information about herself with the rest of the Board Members present. Joe Perez reported that he
received notification from Frances Noteboom regarding her desire to resign from the Community Services
Board effective immediately.
B. Outgoing: Joe Perez presented a memo dated January 28th from Terry Lowe to the City Manager/City
Council that summarized the Boards preliminary Community Development Block Grant Public Service
Funding Recommendations
.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES:
5. Joe Perez informed the Board Members that the January 9, 2014 meeting
minutes had an error whereby 2-1-1 Orange County needed to be deleted from the funded agency list and thus
no CSB liaison visit was required for this agency. Joe noted that the agency that should have been listed and
assigned to Chair Henninger was Women Helping Women and Men 2 Work; Board Member Kelso made a
motion to edit the minutes of January 9, 2014; Board Member Murphy seconded the motion which passed with
six ayes and one abstention.

FY 2013/2014 Mid-Year Update: The Board listened to mid-year funding updates and inquired about the FY
2013-2014 CDBG funding cycle from the following individual/agencies:
Judy Dickinson, Acacia Adult Day Services
Nahla Kayali, Access California Services
Marc Marger, AIDS Services
John Guastaferro , Anaheim Family YMCA
Yvette Nadolny, Anaheim Children Station
Gracelene Gracia, Anaheim Family YMCA Sports & Fitness Director
Anne Trovada, Anaheim Family YMCA Swim Program Director
INFORMATIONAL ITEMS
8. : Board Member Beas presented a handout of the Anaheim Historical Society
2014 Show and Tell program.
