A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM REQUESTING TEMPORARY CLOSURES TO
ANAHEIM BOULEVARD FOR PACKING HOUSE GRAND
OPENING
WHEREAS, the Packing House Grand Opening is scheduled for May 31, 2014;
and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that many members of the public will be celebrating
the grand opening with horse drawn hayrides; and
WHEREAS, safety along the course will require an approximate fourteen hour
temporary closure of Anaheim Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, traffic control plans have been prepared, and a certificate of
insurance has been prepared to the satisfaction of the City; and
WHEREAS, Anaheim Packing District agrees to reimburse the City for costs of
the traffic closures.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Anaheim
that the City of Anaheim requests temporary closures of up to fourteen hours on May 31, 2014,
between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. at 1) northbound Anaheim Boulevard from Santa Ana Street to
Broadway.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 13th day of May , 2014, by the following roll call
vote:
AYES: Mayor Tait, Council Members Eastman, Murray Brandman and Kring
