A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF ONE PROJECT
TO THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
FOR FUNDING UNDER THE FEDERAL PROJECT ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM.
(a) WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to implement the
transportation improvement listed below; and
(b) WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has been declared by the
Orange County Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility
requirements to receive federal funds; and
(c) WHEREAS, the City's Circulation Element is consistent with
the County of Orange Master Plan of Arterial highways; and
(d) WHEREAS, the City was previously awarded federal funding
for this project, and
(e) WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has made all reasonable
efforts to contain the cost and scope of the project listed below,
but still requires additional funding; and
(f) WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim will provide matching funds
as required by the Federal Project Assistance Program Guidelines; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby requests
the Orange County Transportation Authority to allocate funds in the
amounts specified in the City of Anaheim's application to said City
from the Federal Project Assistance Program. Said funds shall be
matched by funds from said City as required and shall be used as
supplemental funding to aid the City in the improvement of the
following street:
Tustin Avenue Overcros$ing Widening at SR-91
Freeway project
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 23rd day of
April , 2002.
