The Community Services Board meeting was called to order at 5:35 p.m. by Chair Henninger. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: 2. Chair Henninger invitedBoard Member Shimogawa to lead the Board in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. INTRODUCTION OF VISITORS & PUBLIC COMMUNICATION 3. A. Scheduled Public Communication: None. B. Unscheduled Public Communication: None. CORRESPONDENCE 4. A. Incoming: Joe Perez presented information regarding revenue sources provided by Acacia Adult Day Services to supplement their CDBG 2015-16 Application. B. Outgoing: None. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: 5. Board Member Barnett made a motion to approve the meeting minutes from the September 11, 2014 meeting; Board Member Kelso seconded the motion which passed. NEW BUSINESS: 6. None. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: 7. A. FY 2015/2016 CDBG Public Service Funding Process-Applicant Presentations The Board listened to oral presentations and asked questions of the following agencies: Lestonnac Free Clinic Mariposa Family Center Community SeniorServ Women Helping Women & Men 2 Work Anaheim Family YMCA Community Services Board September 18, 2014 Page 2 YWCA of North Orange County Access California Services Chair Henninger gave an overview on the CDBG application process for the new board members. rd INFORMATIONAL ITEMS 8. : Board Member Beas shared the 3 Quarter 2014 Anaheim Historical Society newsletter with fellow board members. Board Member Kelso reported the Homeless Veterans Stand Down Event will be held at the Tustin Army thth Reserve Center September 26 through September 28.
