1980/10/29 (2) 80-1417 City Hall, Anaheim, California - COUNCIL MINUTES - October 29, 1980, 11:00 A.M. The City Council of the City of Anaheim met in adjourned regular session. PRESENT: ~OUNCIL MEMBERS: Kaywood, Bay, Roth and Overholt ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Seymour PRESENT: CITY MANAGER: William 0. Talley CITY ATTORNEY: William P. Hopkins CITY CLERK: Linda D. Roberts Mayor Pro Tem Overholt called the adjourned regular meeting to order at 11:50 A.M. 114: MEETING WITH THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY FOR LABOR RELATIONS OF HUD: Council- man Overholt reported on his attendance at a October 16, 1980 meeting with the Community Development staff, Nancy Johnson, Intergovernmental Relations Manager, and Mrs. Elizabeth Raymond, Assistant Secretary for Labor Relations of HUD. He felt it was an interesting meeting in that it seemed Mrs. Raymond was indeed interested in how the City percei~~ed HUD in their dealings with Anaheim. Mr. Priest indicated he felt the meeting was somewhat helpful. 114: LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES CONVENTION: Both Mayor Pro Tem Overholt and Councilwoman Kaywood reported on their attendance at the League of California Cities Convention held in Las Angeles October 19 through 22, 1980. RECESS - EXECUTIVE SESSION: Councilwoman Kaywood moved to recess into Executive Session. Councilman Bay seconded the motion. Councilman Seymour was absent. MOTION CARRIID. (11:57 a.m.) AFTER RECESS: Mayor Pro Tem Overholt called the meeting to order, all Council Members being present, with the exception of Councilman Seymour. (12:50 P.M.) ADJOURNMENT: Councilman Bay moved to adjourn. Councilwoman Kaywood seconded the motion. Councilmen Roth and Seymour were absent. MOTION CARRIED. Adjourned: 12:52 P.M. ~~~~~ LINDA D.
