ORDINANCE NO. 5585
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5517 RELATING TO
ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS FOR THE
NORTHEAST AREA SPECIFIC PLAN (SP 94-1)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim adopted
Ordinance No. 5517 on September 12, 1996, adding new regulations
to the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning and development
standards for the Northeast Area Specific Plan (SP 94-1); and
WHEREAS, the a provision of Ordinance No. 5517
(18.110.070.060.0602(b) through inadvertence and clerical error
contains an incorrect description of certain property in the
Northeast Area Specific Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to correct said error
contained in Ordinance No. 5517, nunc pro nunc.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the following provision of Chapter 18.110 of Title
18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code as adopted by Ordinance No. 5517
be, and the same is hereby, repealed and readopted, nunc pro
tunc, to provide as follows:
"18.110.070.060.0602
Prior to issuance of any grading permit or
building permit (whichever occurs first),
property identified by the City as a
paleontological resource shall comply with
all applicable federal, state, and local
laws, ordinances, and regulations relating
to paleontological resources including, but
not limited to: having a qualified paleon-
tologist present during any subsurface
disturbance or grading.
(a) Proof of compliance shall be submitted to
the Planning Department prior to the issuance
of said permit.
(b) The thirteen (13) acre parcel bounded on the
north by Landon Drive, on the east by Kellogg
Drive, on the south by La Palma Avenue and ex-
tending approximately 774 feet westerly from the
centerline of Kellogg Drive, has been identified
as a paleontological resource."

THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 19th day of
November , 1996.
