5571ORDINANCE NO. 5571 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE (ZONING) PERTAINING TO REQUIRED SETBACKS AND LANDSCAPING REQUIREMENTS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Subsections .010 and .020 of Section 18.41.063 of Chapter 18.41 of Title 18 (Zoning) of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and said subsections are hereby, amended to read as follows: 11.010 Abutting Any Arterial Highway. A setback of not less than ten (10) feet in depth, fully land- scaped, as measured from the planned highway right-of-way line as designated on the Circulation Element of the General Plan. .020 Abutting Any Local Street. A setback of not less than five (5) feet in depth, fully landscaped, as measured from the planned street right-of-way line; provided, however, that where more than two-thirds of the property in the block on the opposite side of said local street is zoned for single-family residential use, the setback shall be increased to ten (10) feet, fully landscaped, and if parking is provided between the landscaped setback and any building, a six (6) foot high masonry wall, screened with clinging vines and shrubs, shall be provided to the rear of the ten (10) foot landscaped area." SECTION 2. That Subsections .010 and .020 of Section 18.44.063 of Chapter 18.44 of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and said subsections are hereby, amended to read as follows: ".010 Abutting Any Arterial Highway. SECTION 3. That subsections .010, .011, and .012 of Section 18.44.064 of Chapter 18.44 of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same are hereby, repealed. SECTION 4. That subsection .010 of Section 18.41.064 of Chapter 18.41 of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, repealed. CERTIFICATION The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
