A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE
SUBMITTAL OF SEVENTEEN IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT(S) TO THE ORANGE COUNTY
TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY FOR
FUNDING UNDER THE ARTERIAL HIGHWAY
REHABILITATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to implement the
transportation improvements listed below; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has been declared by the Orange
County Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility requirements
to receive Measure M ~turnback" funds; and
WHEREAS, the City's Circulation Element is consistent with
the County of Orange Master Plan of Arterial Highways; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim will provide matching funds for
each project as required by the Arterial Highway Rehabilitation
Program Guidelines; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Authority intends
to allocate funds for rehabilitation projects within the incorporated
cities and the County; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim will use Arterial Highway
Rehabilitation Program Funding as a supplement to their existing
pavement management program; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the
City of Anaheim hereby requests that the Orange County Transportation
Authority allocate funds in the amounts specified in the City's
application to said City from the Arterial Highway Rehabilitation
Program. Said funds shall be matched by funds from said City as
required and shall be used as supplemental funding to aid the City in
the improvement of the streets set forth in Exhibit ~A", attached
hereto and incorporated herein.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved by adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 7th day May , 2002.
