RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE GENERAL TRUCK DRIVERS UNION, LOCAL
952, AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, CHANGING THE
EFFECTIVE DATE OF A NEGOTIATED GENERAL WAGE
INCREASE
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director met and conferred with officials and
employee representatives of the General Truck Driver's Union, Local 952, changing the
effective date of a negotiated general wage increase from October 4, 2002, to September 27,
2002; and
WHEREAS, the General Truck Drivers Union, Local 952, is in agreement with the
recommendations contained in said Letter of Understanding; and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the Letter of Understanding dated April 9, 2002,
between the parties has been prepared and signed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that it is in the best interest
of the City of Anaheim to approve said Letter of Understanding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that
said Letter of Understanding dated April 9, 2002, between the General Truck Driver's Union,
Local 952, and the City of Anaheim, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated by
reference herein, is hereby approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim the 7~:b_ day of May, 2002.

and the
CITY OF ANAHEIM
The General Truck Drivers Union, Local 952, and the City of Anaheim have met and
conferred and have reached [he following agreement:
The negot,ated general wage increase provided for in Appendix "A" of the
Memorancium of Understanding dated July 14, 2000 through October 2,
2003 between the City of Anaheim and the General Truck Drivers Union,
Local 952 scheduled for implementation on October4, 2002 shall be
implemented effective September 27. 2002.
