RES-2015-004 RESOLUTION NO. 2015-004 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING CITY COUNCIL POLICY 5.8 RELATING TO NEIGHBORHOOD TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PROGRAM WHEREAS, on April 22, 2008, the City Council added City Council Policy 5.8 entitled "Neighborhood Traffic Management Program" relating to traffic calming; and WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to amend the City Council Policy Manual to amend City Council Policy 5.8 with regard to the minimum support rate for implementing traffic calming measures. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows: Section 1. Paragraph 9 of Policy No. 5.8 entitled, "Neighborhood Traffic Management Program" is hereby deleted in its entirety from the City Council Policy Manual and replaced with the following: "9. Staff determines if the following response rates have been met: a minimum of two-thirds of the surveyed households must respond and support the traffic management plan. Staff will assist petitioner(s) by providing a list of persons who did not respond to the surveys, so they may encourage them to vote. If the response rates are not met, then the NTC has one opportunity to modify the plan. " Section 2. All other paragraphs of Policy No. 5.8 shall remain in full force and effect. Section 3. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
