AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING CHAPTER 2.13 OF TITLE 2 OF
THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, AND
• REPEALING SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE
�\ NO. 5249, RELATING TO THE UTILITY
USERS' TAX
THE \CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTIO 1.
That Cha er 2.13 of Title 2 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the sam is hereby, amended by the addition of new
Section 2.13.220 ther to, to read as follows:
112.13.220 AUTOMATIC REPEAL
This Chapter shall cease to be operative
and shall be dee%ed repealed without further action of
the City Council i&ffective at midnight on September 30,
1994, unless prior�'to such date the City Council has
adopted an ordinanc4 deleting, modifying or terminating
such date of repeal.' -.Any and all taxes accrued on or
before said date of repeal, and interest and penalties
thereon as otherwise pr'qvided in this Chapter, shall be
and remain due and owing:.,to the City until paid in
full, and the City may seokk all appropriate legal
remedies to collect such tax, interest and penalties,
notwithstanding the automate repeal of this Chapter as
provided in this Section."
SECTION 2.
That uncodified Section 4 of Ordh�ance No. 5249 of the
City of Anaheim be, and the same is hereby, repealed.
