RESOLUTION NO. 98R - 18
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT OR APPLICATION TO THE STATE ENERGY
RESOURCES CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Chapter 659, Statutes of 1997, includes
appropriations from the Petroleum Violation Escrow Account to the
State Energy Resources Conservation and Development Commission
(the Commission) for legislatively mandated projects; and
WHEREAS, said Chapter requires that certain legislatively
mandated projects be allocated by the Commission to the City of
Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is desirous of implementing a
project for electric vehicles and related recharging
infrastructure and securing funding for said project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Director of the
Public Works Department be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City of Anaheim such
agreement or grant application and such other documentation
with the Commission necessary to implement and carry out the
purposes of this resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this3rd day of February, 1998.
