RES-2015-195RESOLUTION NO. 2015- 1 95 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2014-092, WHICH ESTABLISHED RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR CLASSIFICATIONS DESIGNATED AS EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated June 16, 2015, that Resolution No. 2014-092 be amended in the manner hereinafter set forth, effective July 3, 2015; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that the aforementioned amendment is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows: Section 1 That, Section 3 of Resolution No. 2014-092 be amended by adding the following specifically, for the Fire Chief: That, effective the pay period beginning July 3, 2015, the Fire Chief shall receive a three percent (3%) wage increase; and That, effective the pay period beginning July 3, 2015, the Fire Chief enrolled in the three percent at fifty (3.0%A50) benefit plan, shall contribute twelve percent (12%) towards Ca1PERS pension benefits. Section 2 That, Section 4 of Resolution No. 2014-092 be amended by adding the following specifically, for the Fire Chief: Pursuant to the California Public Employees' Pension Reform Act of 2013, new employees, working in the classifications set forth in this Resolution, hired on or after January 1, 2013, shall be enrolled in the Public Employee's Retirement defined benefit plan of 2.7% @ 57 with a final compensation measurement period of the average of three (3) consecutive years and the employee paying at least fifty percent (50%) of normal costs, rounded to the nearest of one percent (1%). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this Resolution is June 16, 2015. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as amended herein, Resolution No. 2014-092 shall remain in full force and effect.
