ORDINANCE NO. 4880
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
SECTIONS 18.44.030, 18.44.050, 18.45.030,
18.45.050, 18.46.030, 18.46.050, 18.61.030,
18.61.050, 18.63.030, 18.63.050 OF CHAPTERS
18.44, 18.45, 18.46, 18.61, 18.63,
RESPECTIVELY, OF TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING THERETO SUBSECTIONS
PERTAINING TO RECYCLING FACILITIES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
SECTION 1.
That Section 18.44.030 of Chapter 18.44 of Title 18 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
adding subsection 18.44.030.110 to read as follows:
11.110 REVERSE VENDING MACHINES AND SMALL
COLLECTION FACILITIES for recycling purposes subject
to the requirements of Chapter 18.95."
SECTION 2.
That Section 18.44.050 of Chapter 18.44 of Title 18 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
adding subsection 18.44.050.350 to read as follows:
".350 Large collection facilities for
recycling purposes subject to the requirements of
Chapter 18.95."
SECTION 3.
That Section 18.45.030 of Chapter 18.45 of Title 18 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
adding subsection 18.45.030.120 to read as follows:
".120 REVERSE VENDING MACHINES AND SMALL
COLLECTION FACILITIES for recycling purposes subject
to the requirements of Chapter 18.95."
SECTION 4.
That Section 18.45.050 of Chapter 18.45 of Title 18 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
adding subsection 18.45.050.330 to read as follows:
".330 Large collection facilities for
recycling purposes subject to the requirements of
Chapter 18.95."
SECTION S.
That Section 18.46.030 of Chapter 18.46 be, and the same
is hereby, amended by adding subsection 18.46.030.110 to read as
follows:
11.110 REVERSE VENDING MACHINES AND SMALL
COLLECTION FACILITIES for recycling purposes subject
to the requirements of Chapter 18.95."
SECTION 6.
That Section 18.46.050 of Chapter 18.46 of Title 18 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
adding subsection 18.46.050.310 to read as follows:
".310 Large collection facilities for
recycling purposes subject to the requirements of
Chapter 18.95."
SECTION 7.
That Section 18.61.030 of Chapter 18.61 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by adding
subsection 18.61.030.090 to read as follows:
11.090 REVERSE VENDING MACHINES AND SMALL
COLLECTION FACILITIES for recycling purposes subject
to the requirements of Chapter 18.95."
SECTION 8.
That Section 18.61.050 of Chapter 18.61 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by adding
subsection 18.61.050.616 to read as follows:
11.616 Large collection facilities and
processing facilities for recycling purposes subject
to the requirements of Chapter 18.95."
SECTION 9.
That Section 18.63.030 of Chapter 18.63 of Title 18 ;of
the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
adding subsection 18.63.030.090 to read as follows:
11.090 REVERSE VENDING MACHINES AND SMALL
COLLECTIONS FACILITIES for recycling purposes subject
to the requirements of Chapter 18.95."

SECTION 10.
That Section 18.63.050 of Chapter 18.63 of Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
adding subsection 18.63.050.450 to read as follows:
11.450 Large collection facilities and
processing facilities for recycling purposes subject
to the provisions of Chapter 18.95."
SECTION 9. SEVERABILITY
The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby
declares that should any section, paragraph, sentence or
word of this ordinance, hereby adopted, be declared for
any reason to be invalid, it is the intent of the Council
that it would have passed all other portions of this
ordinance independent of the elimination herefrom of any
such portion as may be declared invalid.
SECTION 10. SAVINGS CLAUSE
Neither the adoption of this ordinance nor the repeal
hereby of any other ordinance of this City shall in any manner
affect the prosecution for violations of ordinances, which
violations were committed prior to the effective date hereof, nor
be construed as a waiver of any license or penalty or the penal
provisions applicable to any violation thereof. The provisions of
this ordinance, insofar as they are substantially the same as
ordinance provisions previously adopted by the City relating to the
same subject matter, shall be construed as restatements and
continuations, and not as new enactments.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 8th day of December, 1987.
