AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
THE ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN TITLE 18 OF THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission heretofore held a duly
noticed public hearing and, as a result thereof, did adopt its
Resolution No. PC87-106 determining that a change or changes in the
zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described should be made;
and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were made as
conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of said
zone or zones, which conditions have been complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Zoning Map referred to in Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
rezoning and reclassifying that certain property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to wit:
PARCEL 1:
THAT PORTION OF LOT 4 OF SOUTH PLACENTIA TRACT NO. 2,
IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, COUNTY OF ORANGE, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, ACCORDING TO THE MAP FILED IN BOOK 5, PAGE
42 OF MISCELLANEOUS MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY
RECORDER OF SAID COUNTY, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT A POINT IN THE NORTH LINE OF THE PARCEL OF
LAND DESCRIBED IN PARCEL 1 OF DEED TO W. L. MORRIS AND
WIFE RECORDED APRIL 12, 1940 IN BOOK 1039 PAGE 285 OF
OFFICIAL RECORDS DISTANT 655 FEET EASTERLY FROM THE
INTERSECTION OF SAID LINE OR THE EXTENSION THEREOF WITH
THE CENTER LINE OF CYPRESS AVENUE; THENCE SOUTH 890 50'
EAST ALONG SAID NORTH LINE 38.22 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 430
37' EAST 135.60 FEET TO THE SOUTHEASTERLY LINE OF SAID
LOT 4; THENCE SOUTHWESTERLY ALONG SAID SOUTHEASTERLY
LINE TO A LINE EXTENDING SOUTHERLY PARALLEL WITH THE
WEST LINE OF SAID LOT 4 FROM THE POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE NORTHERLY ALONG SAID PARALLEL LINE 184.88 FEET
TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.

42 OF MISCELLANEOUS MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY
RECORDER OF SAID COUNTY, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
THAT PORTION OF LOT 4 OF SOUTH PLACENTIA TRACT NO. 2,
AS SHOWN ON MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 5, PAGE 42 OF
MISCELLANEOUS MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY
RECORDER OF SAID COUNTY, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT A POINT IN THE NORTH LINE OF THE LAND

AVENUE; THENCE S. 890 50' E., ALONG SAID NORTH LINE TO
A POINT IN THE SOUTHEASTERLY LINE OF SAID LOT; THENCE
SOUTHWESTERLY ALONG SAID SOUTHEASTERLY LINE TO A POINT
IN A LINE MEASURED S. 430 37' E., THROUGH THE POINT OF
BEGINNING; THENCE N. 43° 37' W., 135.60 FEET TO THE
POINT OF BEGINNING.
EXCEPT THEREFROM THAT PORTION DESCRIBED IN PARCEL 8 OF
THE LAND RELINQUISHED TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM BY DEED
RECORDED IN BOOK 7756, PAGE 472 OF OFFICIAL RECORDS IN
SAID OFFICE,
into the "RM -1200" RESIDENTIAL, MULTIPLE -FAMILY ZONE.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended and the property above-described shall be excluded from the
zone in which it is now situated and incorporated in and made a part
of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map, as
amended, is hereby adopted and the Planning Department is hereby
directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City
Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 1st day of March, 1988.
