ORDINANCE NO. +11"
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ADDING NEW
SECTION 11.08.040 TO CHAPTER 11.08 OF TITLE 11
OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
FLAGPOLE DISPLAYS AT THE ANAHEIM CIVIC CENTER.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
SECTION 1.
That new Section 11.08.040 be, and the same is hereby,
added to Chapter 11.08 of Title 11 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
to read as follows:
"11.08.040 DISPLAYS ON FLAGPOLES AT THE
ANAHEIM CIVIC CENTER.
It shall be unlawful for any
person to display, erect or affix any flag, banner or other
display of any nature whatsoever to any flagpole owned and
maintained by the City of Anaheim and located at the Anaheim
Civic Center, 200 South Anaheim Boulevard, Anaheim,
California, except the official flags of the United States,
State of California, and City of Anaheim as the same may be
expressly authorized by the Anaheim City Council."
SECTION 2.
SEVERABILITY
The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby declares
that should any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this
ordinance, hereby adopted, be declared for any reason to be
invalid, it is the intent of the Council that it would have passed
all other portions of this ordinance independent of the elimination
herefrom of any such portion as may be declared invalid.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this day of
