AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 18 ZONING
OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING
TO LIMITATION OF TANDEM PARKING.
HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
SECTION 1.
That \ubsection .0123 of Section 18.06.050 be, and it is
hereby, amended\to read as follows:
".0123 Tan em parking of not more than two (2)
vehicles deep hall be permitted for required covered
parking when th two (2) spaces are assigned to the
same dwelling un't, provided, however, that not more
than twenty-five ercent (250) of the parking spaces
may be in tandem. Required open spaces shall be
permitted in tandem to covered spaces and shall be
provided in a drivew y having minimum dimensions of
sixteen (16) feet wid and twenty-five (25) feet
long. Tandem open spa es shall be assigned to the
same dwelling unit. Ta dem parking shall be permitted
on only one (1) side of ny driving aisle."
SECTION 2.
VERABILITY
The City Council of theCity of Anaheim hereby declares
that should any section, paragrap sentence or word of this
ordinance, hereby adopted, be decl red for any reason to be
invalid, it is the intent of the Co ncil that it would have passed
all other portions of this ordinance independent of the elimination
herefrom of any such portion as may b declared invalid.
SECTION 3. SAVINGS CMUSE
Neither the adoption of this or nance nor the repeal
hereby of any other ordinance of this Cit shall in any manner
affect the prosecution for violations of or finances, which
violations were committed prior to the effec five date hereof, nor
be construed as a waiver of any license or pe alty or the penal
provisions applicable to any violation thereof The provisions of
this ordinance, insofar as they are substantial y the same as
ordinance provisions previously adopted by the 'ty relating to the
same subject matter, shall be construed as restat ments and
continuations, and not as new enactments.
