ORDINANCE NO. 4938
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING
THE AMOUNT OF THE PENALTIES FOR ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE VEHICULAR PARKING VIOLATIONS AND DECLARING
THE URGENCY THEREOF.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
SECTION 1.
That Chapter 14.32 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
pertaining to Parking and Stopping of vehicles be, and it is
hereby, amended by adding thereto a new Section 14.32.550 to read
as follows:
"14.32.550 Parking Penalties.
The amount of the parking penalties for
violations of this Chapter shall be as follows:

SECTION 2.
The City Council does hereby declare that this Ordinance
is necessary as an emergency measure for the immediate preservation
of the public peace, health or safety. This Ordinance is necessary
as an urgency ordinance in that, as of July 1, 1988, the Municipal
Court will no longer process vehicular parking citations and that
the penalties imposed by this Ordinance are necessary to an
effective parking enforcement program.
SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY
The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby declares
that should any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this
ordinance, hereby adopted, be declared for any reason to be
invalid, it is the intent of the Council that it would have passed
all other portions of this ordinance independent of the elimination
herefrom of any such portion as may be declared invalid.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim thisr 8thda f June, 1988.
