ORDINANCE NO. 4947
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
SUBSECTION .010 OF SECTION 1.12.010 OF CHAPTER
1.12 OF TITLE 1 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
SECTION 1.
That Subsection .010 of Section 1.12.010 of Chapter
1.12 of Title 1 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is
hereby, amended to read as follows:
11.010 The regular meetings of the City
Council shall be held in the Council Chambers of the
City Hall within the Civic Center located at 200 South
Anaheim Boulevard, Anaheim, California. Regular
meetings shall be held on Tuesday of each week;
provided that, in the event any Tuesday shall fall
upon an authorized City holiday or upon any day
appointed by the President of the United States or by
the Governor of the State of California for a public
feast, thanksgiving or holiday, then such regular
meeting of the City Council shall be held on the next
succeeding day which is not a holiday. Regular
meetings of the City Council shall be scheduled to
commence at 12:00 noon except for the regular meetings
held on the first Tuesday of each calendar month which
shall be scheduled to commence at 4:00 p.m."
SECTION 2. SEVERABILITY
The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby declares
that should any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this
ordinance, hereby adopted, be declared for any reason to be
invalid, it is the intent of the Council that it would have passed
all other portions of this ordinance independent of the
elimination herefrom of any such portion as may be declared
invalid.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 9th day of August, 1988.
