2002-131RESOLUTION NO. 2002R- 131 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING RATES TO BE CHARGED FOR LICENSING AND FOR CERTAIN LABOR, EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES AT CITY PARKING LOT EVENTS AT EDISON INTERNATIONAL FIELD OF ANAHEIM COMMENCING JULY 1, 2002 WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore adopted a fee schedule for licensing, labor, equipment and services (hereinafter "Personnel Services") for City parking lot events at Edison International Field of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore further adopted a schedule of facility rental rates for City parking lot events at Edison International Field of Anaheim (hereinafter ~Rental Rates"), which Rental Rates remain unchanged; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve a revised fee schedule for Personnel Services and establish the effective date of said fees; and WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and declares that adoption of this fee schedule is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Section 21080(b) (8) of the Public Resources Code and California Code of Regulations Section 15273 in that the fees and rates are established to meet operating expenses, including employee wage rates and fringe benefits; purchasing or leasing supplies, equipment or materials; and meeting financial reserve needs and requirements; and WHEREAS, the fees have been considered at a duly noticed public hearing. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the Schedule of Rental Rates and of fees for Personnel Services set forth in Exhibit "A" be, and the same is hereby, adopted to take effect on the dates set forth on the individual schedules, or on July 1, 2002, whichever date is later. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Executive Director of the Convention, Sports and Entertainment Department is authorized to negotiate contracts for use of the Edison International Field of Anaheim parking lot at rates which exceed the rates specified in this resolution. Double time will be charged for any electrician/HVAC technician labor calls that begin before 7:00 a.m. and end after 11:30 p.m. Client will be charged Y= hour of double time for an event start time of 7:00 a.m. for an electrician and 1 hour of double time for an HVAC technician needed to provide lighting and/or heating/air conditioning. 5% STAFFING FEES MAY BE ASSESSED IF CONTRACTUAL TIME DEADLINES ARE NOT MET.
