4849ORDINANCE NO. 4849
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
SECTION 18.02.052 OF CHAPTER 18.02 AND
SECTION 18.84.038 OF CHAPTER 18.84 OF TITLE
18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING
TO HOME OCCUPATION AND TREE PRESERVATION,
RESPECTIVELY.
FOLLOWS: THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
SECTION 1.
That Section 18.02.052 of Chapter 18.02 of Title 18 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and it is hereby, amended by
amending subsection .049 to read as follows:
".049 Applicant shall obtain a City
business license for said occupation and shall
register said home occupation with the Planning
Department on forms provided for such purpose
together with payment of a filing fee as established
by resolution of the City Council."
SECTION 2.
That Section 18.84.038 of Chapter 18.84 of Title 18 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and it is hereby, amended to read
as follows:
".040 Application to Cut Down, Destroy
or Remove Specimen Trees. Applications for
authority to cut down, destroy or remove Specimen
Trees (other than those described in subsection .030
above) shall be filed with the Planning Department
on forms provided for such purposes together with a
filing fee as established by resolution of the City
Council. The application shall show clearly by
diagram, plot plan or photograph, the location and
identity of the trees sought to be removed, the name
and address of the owner and such information as
indicated on the form provided. Applications shall
be referred directly to the Planning Commission for
determination."
SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY
The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby declares
that should any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this
ordinance, hereby adopted, be declared for any reason to be
invalid, it is the intent of the Council that it would have passed
all other portions of this ordinance independent of the
elimination herefrom of any such portion as may be declared
invalid.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 7th day of July, 1987.
