ORDINANCE NO. 4853
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING SECTION 1.06.120 AND REPEALING
SECTION 1.06.140 OF CHAPTER 1.06 OF
TITLE 1 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE RELATIONS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
SECTION 1.
That Section 1.06.120 of Chapter 1.06 of Title 1 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
adding Subsection .090 thereto to read as follows:
11.090 Nothing contained in this section shall
preclude the City Management Representative and the
various affected employee organizations from mutually
agreeing to the transfer of job classes from one
bargaining unit to another or from a non represented
unit to a bargaining unit or from a bargaining unit to
a non represented unit. Any such agreed upon transfer
will not be subject to any representation proceedings
outlined in this ordinance or the rules accompanying
this ordinance."
SECTION 2.
That Section 1.06.140 of Chapter 1.06 of Title 1 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, repealed.
SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY
The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby declares
that should any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this
ordinance, hereby adopted, be declared for any reason to be
invalid, it is the intent of the Council that it would have passed
all other portions of this ordinance independent of the elimination
herefrom of any such portion as may be declared invalid.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 21st day of July, 1987.
