2002-152RESOLUTION NO. 2002R- 152 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR CLASSIFICATIONS ASSIGNED TO THE GENERAL UNIT REPRESENTED BY THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated June 18, 2002, that new job classifications be established in the General Unit represented by the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, effective June 21, 2002; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that the creation of these new classifications and assignment to the General Unit represented by the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that, effective June 21,2002, through January 2, 2003 the basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the future be employed in the classifications listed below shall be allocated to the following salary schedule in the Salary Schedule Master: Classification Schedule Step Salary Relationship Building Permit Technician I 1857 J-E Building Permit Technician II 2008 A-E Crime Prevention Specialist I 1627 A-E Crime Prevention Specialist II 1914 J-E 1.000 Public Works Operations Crew Supervisor U2 2655 A-E 1.050 Senior Crime Prevention Specialist U2 2105 A-E 1.125 Senior Police Services Representative U2 2105 A-E 1.125 Senior Skilled Crafts Worker 2600 A-E 1.200 0.925 x Building Permit Technician II Benchmark classification 0.850 x Police Services Representative II x Police Services Representative II x Lead Street Maintenance Worker x Police Services Representative II x Police Services Representative II x Skilled Crafts Worker NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that, effective January 3, 2003, through January 1,2004 the basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the future be employed in the classifications listed below shall be allocated to the following salary schedule in the Salary Schedule Master: Classification Schedule Step Salary Relationship Building Permit Technician I 1931 Building Permit Technician II 2088 Crime Prevention Specialist I 1692 Crime Prevention Specialist II 1991 Public Works Operations Crew Supervisor U2 2762 Senior Crime Prevention Specialist U2 2190 Senior Police Services Representative U2 2190 Senior Skilled Crafts Worker 2705 F:\OT2667vk J-E 0.925 x Building Permit Technician II A-E Benchmark classification A-E 0.850 x Police Services Representative II J-E 1.000 x Police Services Representative II A-E 1.050 x Lead Street Maintenance Worker A-E 1.125 x Police Services Representative II A-E 1.125 x Police Services Representative II A-E 1.200 x Skilled Crafts Worker BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this Resolution is June 21, 2002.
