A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING FEES AND RATES FOR
COMMUNITY PRESERVATION INSPECTIONS AND GRAFFITI
ABATEMENT
WHEREAS, subsection .030 of Section 1.01.389 of Chapter 1.01 of Title 1 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code provides that the City Council shall establish the amount of the fee for any
inspection or reinspection of property for which a fee is imposed pursuant to said subsection; and
WHEREAS, subsection .040 of Section 1.01.389 of Chapter 1.01 of Title 1 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code provides that the City Council shall establish the amount of the fee for any
graffiti abatement for which a fee is imposed pursuant to said subsection; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and declares that adoption of this fee
schedule is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to
Section 21080(b)(8) of the Public Resource Code; and,
WHEREAS, the fees hereinafter established do not exceed the estimated reasonable
cost of providing the services for which the fees are charged; and
WHEREAS, the fees have been considered at a duly noticed public meeting as
required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the fees set forth below be, and the same are, hereby established as follows:
Type of Fee Amount
Inspections and reinspections $196.00 per hour
(A.M.C. Section 1.01.389.030)
Graffiti Abatement $115.00 per hour
(A.M.C. Section 1.01.389.040)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fees set forth in this Resolution shall become
effective thirty (30) days after its adoption.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, upon the date the fee amounts set forth in this
Resolution become effective, said fee amounts shall supersede any prior fee amounts for the same
services which may have been established by any prior action or resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this 24th day of June 2008, by the following roll call vote:
