RES-2008-190A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AFFIRMING ITS ELECTION TO RECEIVE A SHARE OF TAX
INCREMENT UNDER THE AMENDED AND RESTATED
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE ANAHEIM MERGED
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA
HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE SECTION 33607.5
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency is engaged in
implementation of the Redevelopment Plan for Anaheim's Merged Redevelopment Project;
and
WHEREAS, Section 33607.5 of the California Community Redevelopment Law, California
Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq., (the "CRL requires that redevelopment
agencies make certain payments to affected taxing entities (collectively, "Statutory Pass
Through Payments including the community if the community has elected to receive a
payment; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim (the "City has elected to receive Statutory Pass Through
Payments from the Agency pursuant to Section 33607.5.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 33607.5 Election. The City Council hereby affirms its election to
receive Statutory Pass Through Payments from the Agency pursuant to Section 33607.5 of the
CRL and hereby elects to receive such payments as long as permitted by the CRL.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION IS PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THIS THIRD (3rd) DAY OF
NOVEMBER, 2008, BY THE FOLLOWING ROLL CALL VOTE:
