RES-2016-034RESOLUTION NO. 2016- 0 3 4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING CERTAIN DEEDS CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN INTERESTS IN REAL PROPERTIES (CITY DEED NOS. 11843 AND 11931-11938). WHEREAS, certain deeds described in Exhibit "A" (individually "DEED" and collectively "DEEDS") have been presented to the City of Anaheim (hereinafter, "CITY" or "Anaheim"); and WHEREAS, the grantors of the DEEDS have offered to convey to the CITY certain real property interests in connection with their or their development's utility services, including system upgrades; and WHEREAS, the DEEDS and the real property interests therein will assist the CITY with the provision of utility services to the real properties of the grantors; and WHEREAS, Exhibit "A" is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference which describes the grantors, property interests conveyed and locations of the properties; and WHEREAS, based on the foregoing, the Anaheim City Council does hereby find and determine it is <n the best interests of the CITY to accept the DEEDS. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows: 1. The above recitals are true and correct and incorporated herein. 2. The DEEDS and the real property interests contained therein are hereby accepted by the CITY. 3. Nothing herein shall be construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the CITY street system (Streets and Highways Code, Section 1806). 4. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to cause the DEEDS to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Orange.
