A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM VACATING CERTAIN PORTION OF
GENE AUTRY WAY LOCATED APPROXIMATELY
1385 FEET WEST OF STATE COLLEGE BOULEVARD,
PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA STREETS AND
HIGHWAY CODE SECTION 8330, ET SEQ. -
SUMMARY VACATION. (ABANDONMENT NO.
ABA2014-00286)
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has received a request from an applicant for the
vacation of a portion of Gene Autry Way within the boundaries of Tentative Tract Map No. 17703,
Anaheim, CA, in order to clear title to the land to allow for the development of a residential project
known as A -Town; and
WHEREAS, there are no public utilities in place which would be affected by the
vacation; and
WHEREAS, the access easement to be vacated is not required for present or
prospective public road or public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the vacation approved does not convey right, title and interest in the
abandoned property, which is conveyed by separate grant deed pursuant hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of certain portion of Gene Autry Way approximately 1385
feet west of State College Boulevard, as described on Exhibits "A" and "B," attached hereto and
incorporated herein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by this Resolution shall
not be effective until a certified copy of this Resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized
and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder
of the County of Orange, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this I" day of March, 2016, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Pro Tem Kring and Council Members Murray, Brandman,
and Vanderbilt
NOES: None

In the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, being that portion of Parcel 10 of
Block 'W' as shown on a map filed in Book 104, Page 12 of Parcel Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of said county, described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the southerly boundary of Lot 13 of Tract No. 16859 as shown on a
map filed in Book 892, Pages 1 through 10, inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the
County Recorder of said county, said angle point being the westerly terminus of that certain course
shown on said map as "N89*13'18"N 53.87"'; thence along the boundary of said Lot 13 the following
four (4) courses: South 89'13'18" East 53.87 feet, South 0051'42" West 1112 feet, South 89025'56"
East 2.44 feet and South 26'10'26" East 24.37 feet to an angle point in the southerly boundary of
said Lot 13, said angle point being the westerly terminus of that certain course in said southerly
boundary shown on said map as "N89'05'58"W 43.36"'; thence along the westerly prolongation of
said southerly boundary, North 89'05'58" West 37.47 feet to a curve concave northerly having a
radius of 100.00 feet, said curve being tangent at its westerly terminus with the easterly prolongation
of that certain course in the southerly boundary of Lot 12 of said Tract No. 16859 shown on said
map as "N79'09'17"W 85.74"'; thence westerly 17.36 feet along said curve through a central angle of
9"56'41"; thence North 79'09'17" West, along said easterly prolongation, a distance of 44.84 feet to
the easterly terminus of said course; thence continuing along the boundary of said Lot 12, North
51'57'39" East 40.48 feet to the Point of Beginning.
