A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING
SUBMITTAL OF A GRANT APPLICATION TO
THE COUNTY OF ORANGE FOR SENIOR
CITIZEN TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
FUNDING.
WHEREAS, the County of Orange Community Services
Agency/Office of the Aging has identified a need to provide
senior non-emergency medical transportation services;
WHEREAS, the County of Orange Community Services
Agency/Office of the Aging has $2 million available in funding
annually for local agencies to implement non-emergency medical
transportation services to the older adult population; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to submit a grant
request to the County of Orange Community Services Agency/Office
of the Aging;
Now, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim as follows:
The Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to
submit the City of Anaheim's Grant Application to the
County of Orange and to submit such documentation as
may be required in support of such application.

The City of Anaheim commits to comply with the terms
and conditions of such grant if awarded.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 27th day of August ,
2002.
