RESOLUTION NO. 76R- 356
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING COMPREHENSIVE MANPOWER
PROGRAM BUDGET MODIFICATION AND AUTHORIZING
DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS FOR APPROVED
ACTIVITIES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and the Orange County
Manpower Commission heretofore entered into an agreement to
establish and operate a Comprehensive Manpower Program under
the provisions of Title I of the Comprehensive Employment
and Training Act of 1973 (CETA); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and
considered a proposed CETA Title I Budget Modification for
the Comprehensive Manpower Program increasing the funding in
the amount of $229,001.00 from the City's Fifth Quarter
Program funds; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
desires to authorize the City Manager of the City of Anaheim
to execute said Modification to the Agreement with the Orange
County Manpower Commission on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it -would be
for the benefit and in the best interests of the City to
approve the proposed CETA Title I Budget Modification and to
authorize the disbursement of the funds for the approved
activities as allocated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that said CETA Title I Budget'
Modification this day submitted to the City Council -providing
for an increase in funding for the Comprehensive -Manpower
Program in the amount of $84,076.00 be, and the_zame is
hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does
hereby authorize the disbursement of funds for approved
activities.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the funds to be allocated
to the Manpower Commission Program in the amount of $144,925.00
-axe approved for expenditure by the Orange County Manpower
Commission.
