A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE
TEAMSTERS, LOCAL 952, AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and the Teamsters. Local 952 ("Teamsters")
have met and conferred and reached an understanding to establish wages, hours, terms
and conditions of employment for a part-time job classification newly represented by the
Teamsters; and
WHEREAS, the Teamsters, is in agreement with the recommendation contained
in said Letter of Understanding; and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the Letter of Understanding dated May 6, 2016,
between the parties has been prepared and signed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that it is in the
best interest of the City of Anaheim to approve said Letter of Understanding.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the Letter of Understanding dated May 6, 2016, between the Teamsters and
the City of Anaheim, a copy of which. is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference herein, is hereby approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 17th day of May, 2016 by the following roll call vote:

LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
between the
TEAMSTERS, LOCAL 952
and the
CITY OF ANAHEIM
The Teamsters, Local 952 ("TEAMSTERS") and the City of Anaheim ("ANAHEIM")
have met and conferred and reached an agreement on matters pertaining to the wages, hours and
other terms and conditions of employment for those employed in the part-time Head Parking Lot
Cashier classification. The PARTIES hereby agree to the following:
Incorporate the part-time Head Parking Lot Cashier classification into Appendix "A-1" of
the Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") between the Teamsters and ANAHEIM
with the following pay rates.
Classification Grade Step 8 Step 9 Step 10
Head Parking Lot Cashier PE140 $18.29 $20.24 $21.03
a. Employees classified as part-time Head Parking Lot Cashier at the time of City
Council approval of this Agreement shall be placed at Step 9 on the first full pay
period after City Council approval, and would then be placed at Step 10 after six (6)
months from the first full pay period after City Council approval.
b. Any individual hired into the part-time Head Parking Lot Cashier classification after
City Council approval of this Agreement shall follow the terms and conditions of the
MOU.
2. TEAMSTERS and ANAHEIM agree that all other terms and conditions of the MOU
between the TEAMSTERS and ANAHEIM shall apply to the part-time Head Parking Lot
Cashier classification upon approval of this Agreement by the City Council, and that any
future proposals shall be discussed during general contract negotiations.
